A segment made specifically for anchoring bits and small sizes from 16 mm to 46 mm only, used for rebar anchoring and fixings.
Price per segment. Choose With fitting (we weld it onto your bit in our workshop) or Segment only (you buy the segment on its own).
When your core bit’s teeth wear out, you don’t need a new bit: we weld new segments onto your bit with specialised equipment so it cuts again at full efficiency.
Our segment fitting process
- Free testing of your old bit on a dedicated machine to make sure it is free of defects.
- Free trimming of 2 mm from the bit on a dedicated machine, so the weld sits on a straight, clean surface free of dust and cracks.
- Clamping the segments onto the bit with purpose-made heat-resistant magnets, so each segment sits perfectly level inside and out.
- Brazing each segment by hand with copper alloy – the strongest and best way to fix a core bit or saw blade segment.
