Used Core Drilling Machines

A used core drill’s price can look tempting, but in core drilling the machine works under a very heavy load, and the difference between a sound machine and a worn-out one is invisible from the outside. Before you pay for a used machine, know what you are buying.

The risks of buying a used core drill

  • Motor and bearings: the parts that wear most in a core drill, and there is no way to know their real condition without opening and inspecting the machine.
  • Counterfeit internal parts: some machines are sold looking exactly like the original but with different internal windings, and some traders swap the armature and field coil for cheap parts before selling.
  • No service and no replacement: if the machine stops on site, your work stops with it.
  • Safety system: if the machine is not an original Oubao or Cayken, it most likely has no Safety Clutch – a real danger to the operator when the bit jams suddenly.

New and original: the price difference is smaller than you think

  • Oubao handheld core drills for light work at the lowest entry cost.
  • Oubao and Cayken stand core drills from 8 to 14 inch, all with a safety clutch.
  • Your work never stops: if the machine breaks down within one year of purchase, you get a free replacement machine until it is repaired, and original spare parts are always in stock.
